Why I Shot This Photo

I was on a family trip to Lake Tahoe in October of 2013 and was staggered by how beautiful the lake was during sunset. On our final day on the Lake we decided to do a sunrise trip to Emerald Bay. I brought all my camera gear with me that morning and set everything up just in time for a spectacular sunrise light show in the sky. Oranges, blues, pinks and purples mixed with the mirror-like reflection of the lake. This is a 15 exposure HDR panorama.
