Why I Shot This Photo

Yosemite is easily one of the most photogenic locations you can visit as a photographer. Around every corner is a huge waterfall and monolithic granite rock formations. Yosemite always feels alive with people, wildlife and beautiful dynamic weather. This is a photo of a very active Lower Yosemite Falls. I like this photo because of the power in it – that water coming down is cutting right through those granite rocks and the mist create a dynamic atmosphere.
